Hermann Day. Grand opening of the "Waldbühne" (a stage for theatre & concert in the woods) by "The Young Tenors".

A magnificent 2-day-family party. On Saturday there is classical music newly ‘wrapped’ to meet up-to-date standards ! This year, the “Young Tenors” are celebrating their 10th anniversary. The warm sounding tenor voice of Ilya Martins is mixing perfectly with the resonant voices of Hans Hitzeroth and Hubert Schmid. The Trio fascinates with entertainer qualities and powerful voices. Then, on Sunday, Lichterglanz (blaze of lights), Feuertanz (fire dance), nature creatures, elves, and Stelzentanz (dancing on stilts) at the highest level. Impressive illumination by the company Flash Art, live music and much, much more for all of OWL around the “Hermann’s Monument”.
The attractive and versatile program attracts both large and small guests to come to the “Hermann’s Monument”. In 2009 the “Hermann’s Days” are being celebrated for the fifth time and at the same time they are the opening for all events of the international cultural program “Hermann 2009”.
